So, I decided today that I needed to start a blog to vent some of my feelings and let everyone know about my crazy life. Lets start with my love life. I am in a great relationship with an amazing guy. He is so good to me. He knows me so well and sometimes knows my moods before I do. He is what I have always been looking for in a guy and even more. He keeps me grounded yet lets me fly, looks after me, cares about me, and even hates my taste in music. He is constantly surprising me with his sweetness and how much he cares about my feelings and what I am doing. He was so worth the wait. BTW-his name is Andrew Jackson and he is presidential.
Next lets talk about work. So, I am still teaching 6th grade Social Studies. My kids this year are not as personable as last but their are some I really enjoy in class. My job is still quite rewarding and usually I never go a day without a hug from a loving kid. Although some of my co-workers really get on my nerves, I have found ways to avoid them and keep to myself. That is a great way to say sane in my world.
School is school. That is all I can say. I am almost finished with my Masters though. We are reading children's literature for my class this semester so I am learning quite a bit. The book we read this past week was called "Spirits of the High Mesa." It was about a little Latino boy growing up in an ever changing world. He was having to adjust to new ideas such as electricity while still keeping with his grandfathers tradition. This hasn't been my favorite from the class but I did learn a little from it.
